Chris has been designing homes since 1984, has been self employed on and off since 1993 and in full time business as Christopher Todd, AIA Architect since 2005. He studied architecture at Syracuse University and has been practicing as a licensed architect since 1992.
Work Experience:
Project Coordination & Project Management for Architectural firms with experience in producing conceptual design sketches through construction documents on numerous types of projects including institutional, commercial, and residential work.
Head of Design for a timber frame company for seven years, responsibilities included design, estimating and project management for hundreds of residential projects throughout the country.
Designer/Draftsperson, producing preliminary drawings and construction drawings, produced estimates, material take-offs and performed purchasing materials for a panelized home manufacturer.
Designer/Draftsperson, producing preliminary drawings, construction drawings and checking construction documents and contracts for a log home company.
